To not have any hope is where things start to get really bleak. Things are possible. The impossible can be possible.

"Baby on board is the message of a small (usually five-inch) sign intended to be placed in the back window of an automobile to encourage safe driving. First marketed in September 1984 by Safety 1st Corporation, the sign became a ubiquitous fad, flourishing in 1985. Its use in the US rapidly declined by 1986 as parody imitations with lines like “Baby I’m Bored”, “Pit Bull on board”, and “Mother-In-Law in Trunk” became popular, although its popularity continues in the United Kingdom (along with other versions such as “Princess on board” and “Little Person on board”), in Italy and in Japan (usually saying “Baby in Car”, with the sign written in either English or Japanese script) well into the 21st century. The original parent company diversified into infant and child care products.”

50 Girlcrushes of 2013: Charlotte Hegele
Disney Face. At the end of season one, Kate Andrews decided to go back home with her abusive father, undoing all the ways she had forged a life for herself. She abandoned her new family. She left Betty. Her life as Kate Andrews had been a lie. In season two, Marion Rowley slipped back into her Kate Andrews life and seemed determined to make this new life work this time because there was no going back. I still don’t quite know if Kate’s feelings for Ivan, her fiancee, are genuine or if it is Kate’s need to make a new life, a life everyone expects of her, that is pushing her in his direction. There are moments when Kate seems to want a life that isn’t the least bit conventional, like singing seductively to a room full of strangers. I wonder if Kate Andrews even knows who Kate Andrews really is, which brings me, of course, to her feelings for Betty. Betty is her home. She is her best friend. She makes Kate feel safe and loved, but is she in love with Betty? After two seasons, I am still not sure. Charlotte Hegele played this ambiguity so welll that there are days I think “yes, she’s totally in love” and other days when I think, “nope, friends”. Although if Betty throwing herself in jail to protect her doesn’t send Kate’s feelings tumbling into love, I don’t know what will. Betty could resist that Disney face if she tried. She would do anything to try to protect it.
Charlotte is an adorable ball of sunshine and I can’t wait for her to play some kick-ass rebel chick because the day that happens I WILL DIE OF HAPPINESS!
What good is a new life if you don’t have anyone to share it with?
"FAWCETT: Plus, I also think one of the big things we’re going to have to deal with in season 2, which is finding its own twists and turns, is Cosima’s illness. And that is a very pressing bit of drama that is not just straight ahead. It’s got a lot of mystery to it. It’s got a…
